HYDRAULIC LIFTS

In these elevators a device is used which is known as a piston and it is placed at bottom. This is used to push the elevator car up while an electric motor forces hydraulic fluid down the piston. And when these elevators come down the valve releases the hydraulic fluid from the piston which helps the elevators to come down smoothly. Hydraulic elevators are most commonly used in 2-8 story buildings and can travel upto 200 feet per minute.
Hydraulic elevators are divided into 3 parts.
